I am looking to see if there are any companies that design renewable/alternative energy products for home or commercial use that are aesthetically pleasing. Have any names?

China seems to have the insight into seeing that green energy is the wave of the future and will ultimately will be more cost effective than relying on the world dwindling non-renewable resources. Will this set a dramatic new precedent for the USA, who has been dragging its feet?

I heard that if you put one next to a computer screen, they pick up some of the energy and its better for your eyes. Is this true?
